Abstract
Izhodišča. Dvodimenzionalna ultrasonografija je še vedno najpogostejša angiosonografska preiskava v obravnavi možganskožilnih bolezni. Tridimenzionalna ultrasonografija pa pomeni pomembno nadgradnjo in odpira nove diagnostične možnosti. V prispevku avtor predstavlja in primerja obe metodi.

Three-dimensional ultrasonography in clinical neurology |
Secondary abstract: |
Background. Two-dimensional ultrasonography remains the most frequently used angiosonographic method of investigation in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. Three-dimensional ultrasonography, however, represents a significant superstructure, opening new diagnostic possibilities. In the present paper, the author presents these possibilities and compares both methods. Conclusions. Three-dimensional ultrasonography is a significant investigative method offering new possibilities in diagnosing cerebrovascular diseases. It is reliable, noninvasive, repeatable and cheaper that other imaging methods of investigation. |
