Abstract
Voda je ena izmed najpomembnejših elementov, ki obstajajo na Zemlji. Brez nje si življenje težko predstavljamo, saj jo potrebujemo za preživetje, in sicer tako ljudje kot tudi druga živa bitja. Voda sestavlja dve tretjini našega telesa, kar nam veliko pove o njeni pomembnosti. Prav zaradi tega se moramo zavedati njenega pomena in z njo primerno in zavestno ravnati. Voda ima tudi posebno funkcijo, ki otroke in tudi odrasle sprosti, hkrati pa jim predstavlja vrsto idej za različne dejavnosti. Iz lastnih izkušenj lahko povem, da ima voda v mojem življenju pomembno vlogo in me spremlja že od otroštva.
Voda je čudovita snov, ki vzbudi zanimanje, sprostitev in ideje. Je snov, s katero se otroci vsakodnevno srečujejo. Zato me tudi zanima, kakšen vpliv ima voda na otroški razvoj in koliko izkušenj imajo otroci z vodo. To sem poskušala izvedeti v skupini otrok. V diplomski nalogi sem želela ugotoviti, ali je v današnjem času in načinu življenja voda še dejavnik, ki otroke motivira in pritegne k igri. Prav tako sem skušala ugotoviti, koliko otroci o vodi vedo. Otrokom sem prepustila, da z lastno aktivnostjo pridejo do različnih spoznanj v povezavi z vodo in drugimi tekočinami. Dejavnosti so bile zasnovane primerno njihovi starosti, stopnji mišljenja in razvoja, vendar pa so predstavljale tudi izziv za otrokovo razmišljanje ter povezovanje že pridobljenih izkušenj. Pri dejavnostih je sodeloval tudi deček s posebnimi potrebami in želela sem videti tudi njegov odziv in sodelovanje pri dejavnostih.
Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz teoretičnega dela, v katerem je predstavljen razvoj otroka in njegov spoznavni razvoj ter stopnje mišljenja po Jeanu Piagetu; naravoslovje kot področje kurikuluma in pomen naravoslovja v predšolskem obdobju; nekaj pozornosti sem namenila tudi razvoju in poznavanju pojmov, saj se v tem obdobju srečujemo tudi z napačnim razumevanjem pojmov. V empiričnem delu so predstavljene naravoslovne dejavnosti, usmerjene na spoznavanje lastnosti vode; delo v skupini otrok starih od 5 do 6 let in refleksije dejavnosti.
Menim, da bi voda morala biti večkrat vključena v dejavnosti. Predstavlja veliko možnosti za raziskovanje, otroci so pri takšnih dejavnostih sproščeni in na nezaveden način, spontano prihajajo do novih izkušenj, spoznanj in znanj.

Water is one of the key elements that exist on the planet Earth. Without water we can' t imagine life as it is, becouse we need it for our survivel. Our bodies consist of twothirds of water and that explains a lot about its importance. And becouse of that we have to be aware of its importance and we have to treath it very carefully. Water also has some special properties witch relaxes childrens and adults but at the same point gives a lot of ideas for different activities. Also from my point of view i can tell that water has very important role in my life from the begining. It is simply element wich calms me down on one hand and on the other evokes interest and motivates me for new ideas.
Water is an element that kids are daily in contac with. Now i' m wandering what influens it has on a child development and how many experience kids has with it. All that i wanted to explore in a group of childrens. I wanted to know if in time we are living, water is still a factor that motivates kids for different activities, play and research. I also wanted to find out how much knowlage they have about water. I let them to come to new experiences and knowlage with their own activity. Activities were proper prepared for their age, stage of thinking and development but also they presented a challange for the kids to think and connect new facts with old ones. There was also a boy with special needs that participated with the group and i wanted to get some informations about how he thinks and reacts in different situations at the activities.
My degree consists of two parts. First one is teoretical where is presented child's and his cognitive development and their thinking ability and stages of thinking by Jean Piaget. There is also included natural science as an area of curriculum and its meaning in preschool education. I also gave some attention to growth and understanding of concepts becouse in preschool education we encounter misunderstanding of concepts. The second part is practical where are presented natural science curricual activities based on water and it's properties that we performed with the group. I think that water should have more important role in activities on dailybases in preschool education becouse it present a lot of possibilities for exploring and learning and kids are more relaxed and they spontaniously get more experiances and knowlage. |
