Abstract

Bistvo in namen diplomskega dela sta izboljšati procese podpore s strani informacijske tehnologije in logistični proces v distribucijskem centru. Optimiziranje kakovosti črtnih kod je pomemben dejavnik za neoviran in tekoč potek logističnega procesa tako znotraj kot zunaj skladišča. Distribucijske črtne kode, ki se nahajajo na dostavljenem blagu, je treba redno preverjati in opravljati tako imenovani tehnični pregled. Preglede je treba opravljati ob določenih terminih, kjer se nenehno preverja kakovost ali berljivost črtne kode. Nadgradnja informacijske tehnologije je nujna za tekoče izvajanje in učinkovito pripravo logističnih procesov.

Secondary abstract: The aim of this diploma paper is to advance the information technology in Engrotuš d. o. o. and at the same time to improve the logistic process in the distribution centre. Optimisation of barcode quality is an important factor contributing to a smooth and undisturbed logistic process both inside and outside the warehouse. Distribution barcodes attached to the distributed goods must be regularly checked and submitted to the so called technical inspection. Such inspections must be carried out at certain intervals in order to constantly monitor the quality and legibility of barcodes. The upgrading of information technology is of vital importance for the smooth and efficient logistic processes.
