rušenje stereotipov ali nadaljevanje patriarhalnih vzorcev
Mateja Žnidarčič (Author), Alja Adam (Mentor)

Abstract

Secondary title: Slovene picture books: breaking steretypes or continuing patriarchal patterns
Secondary abstract: This diploma thesis analyses stereotyped characters in Slovene picture books published between 2011 an 2014. I emphasize the examples which have surpassed gender and patriarchal stereotypes. My approach to the analysis is based on methods of feminist literary theory and criticism. The changes in our society had been reflected in the literature so I search for the implication of changes in the Slovene picture books. In the thesis I introduce research results of researchers Adela Turin, Igor Saksida, Katja Koren Valenčič, who have been analyzing stereotyped gender roles in 1990’s. In the end of the thesis I compare their results with my findings.
