Secondary abstract: | Palliative nursing care is the crucial part of palliative cancer care. Patient and his family members are playing the key role. High quality palliative care can only be provided with synchronous work of all members of the palliative team, especially the nurses. The purpose of the diploma thesis is to introduce palliative nursing care and palliative care of cancer patients in the terminal phase of life and to define the role of nurses in the palliative cancer and nursing care setting. |
