diplomsko delo
Abstract
Kakovost spada med splošna načela vzgoje in izobraževanja. Kakovost vzgojno-izobraževalnega dela v vrtcu zagotovimo s kakovostno usposobljenimi strokovnimi delavci, z ustreznimi prostorskimi pogoji in s finančnimi vlaganji, z zagotavljanjem avtonomije, pluralnosti, enakovrednosti znanstvenih disciplin in z upoštevanjem sodobnih spoznanj o vzgoji in izobraževanju (Krek idr., 2011).

SELFEVALUATION AS A QUALITY FACTOR IN THE KINDERGARDEN LAŠKO |
Secondary abstract: |
Quality is one of the general principles of education. The quality of educational work in preschool is ensured by the quality of training of the professional staff, by appropriate space conditions and by financial investments, by ensuring autonomy, pluralism, the equivalence of scientific disciplines and taking into account contemporary knowledge about education (Krek et al., 2011). To ensure the level of quality in early preschool education, which is necessary for the child's sustainable development, for quality of learning and for knowledge, it is highly necessary to constantly evaluate kindergartens. It may happen that because of routine or good results the continuing professional development of the workers is forgotten, as well as the fact that educational work is constantly changing and adapting to the needs of children, depending on the situation and the need for change. In this process self-evaluation is important most of all to avoid to slip unconsciously to a lower quality level because of habit and routine of the work, and because of the opinion that something that once had a high quality, is still today of high quality, (Marjanovič Umek et al., 2002). The aim of self-determination is not the evaluation of quality, but its provision. Determining quality is a necessary condition for quality assurance. In assuring quality the need for reflection and the need to decide how to proceed will have to be expressed. During reflection we try to find out what to retain from the detected, what to change in order to maintain the achieved level and what to develop new, respectively to eliminate, if we want to improve quality (Gaber et al., 2011). In the study we investigated, whether self-evaluation, which takes place in the kindergarten, has an impact on the quality of work in the kindergarten Laško. Results suggest that the professional staff in most cases agree that self-evaluation is important in the kindergarten and that self-evaluation in their work has more advantages than limitations. |
