Abstract

Konflikti se pojavljajo v zasebnem in poslovnem okolju posameznika; so neizogibni, zato se moramo z njimi naučiti živeti. V diplomskem delu z naslovom Management konfliktov v organizaciji bomo s pomočjo strokovnega gradiva podrobneje raziskali pomen konfliktov, zakaj se pojavljajo, katere vrste poznamo, kako vplivajo na organizacijo in katere načine njihovega reševanja poznamo, nato pa bomo v empiričnem delu na podlagi poglobljenih intervjujev z zaposlenimi v različnih slovenskih organizacijah preverili ugotovitve teoretičnega dela. V obravnavi stanja v slovenskih podjetjih smo ugotovili, da konflikti prinašajo negativne in pozitivne posledice na uspešnost organizacije; v večini podjetij še vedno menijo, da se jim je treba izogibati. Z našo raziskavo želimo pokazati, da so konfliktne situacije nekaj normalnega v organizacijah in da ne prinašajo samo negativnih posledic, ampak tudi pozitivne.

Secondary abstract: Conflicts can occur in private and in business environment of each individual; they are inevitable and that is why we have to learn to live with them. In this diploma thesis titled Management of conflicts in an organization we will with the help of scientific writings explore in detail the meaning of conflicts, the reasons why they occur, their types, how they affect on organizations and ways of resolving them. In empirical part of the thesis we will then based on in-depth interviews conducted with employees from several different Slovenian organizations check and compare the findings with the theoretical part. After exploring the current situation in Slovenian companies we have come to a conclusion that conflicts can have both negative and positive consequences on effectiveness of an organization. In majority of the companies they still believe that conflicts need to be avoided. We want to show with our research that conflict situations in organizations are normal and that besides negative consequences they can also have positive ones as well.
