magistrsko delo Management elektronskega poslovanja
Abstract
Delovanje podjetij (predvsem globalnih) vedno večkrat vpliva na družbeno aktualne teme trajnostnega razvoja, vpliva na okolje/naravo, varstvo okolja, družbeno pravičnost, razporejanje dodane vrednosti in dobička ali odnos med razvitimi in nerazvitimi. Z dviganjem družbene zavesti in popularizacijo aktivnega državljanstva so globalna podjetja vedno bolj pod drobnogledom nevladnih organizacij, družbenih gibanj, neformalnih državljanskih skupin, ki s svojim delovanjem želijo neposredno vplivati na delovanje podjetja ali vsaj posredno oblikujejo poslovno okolje. Kot bomo kasneje opredelili, nevladne organizacije zastopajo zelo različne interese, od ozkih političnih ali poslovnih do splošnih družbenih interesov, ko delujejo v imenu najširših državljanskih pobud in želijo zaščititi splošne družbene vrednote, kot so okolje, zdravje, družbeni razvoj, izobraževanje, enakomerna porazdelitev dobrin ali splošen pravičen svetovni razvoj.
Pričujoča magistrska naloga se ukvarja s študijem in raziskovanjem značilnosti in dinamiko ekosistema, ki ga sestavljajo nevladne organizacije, globalna podjetja, zainteresirana javnost in mediji, ki spremljajo tovrstne aktivnosti. Raziskave značilnosti odnosov, povezav, odvisnosti in aktivnosti akterjev temeljijo na uporabi, analizi in tolmačenju rezultatov iskanja znanja v podatkovni bazi SigWatch. Portal SigWatch in zbrani podatki se posvečajo predvsem delovanju tovrstnih nevladnih organizacij.
V magistrski nalogi smo predstavili informacijski sistem oz. portal SigWatch in na podlagi njegovih podatkov oblikovali modele, postopke in informacijski sistem za odkrivanje novih spoznanj o delovanju nevladnih organizacij. Modele, nova spoznanja in znanja smo kritično ovrednotili, ocenili njihovo vrednost in nakazali možnosti nadaljnjih korakov pri odkrivanju pravil in znanj v obravnavanem ekosistemu.

Knowledge discovery from a database on the activities of non-governmental organizations with the method of data mining |
Secondary abstract: |
Operations of companies (especially global) has increasingly impact on social topics of sustainable development, the impact on the environment / nature, environmental protection, on social justice, the allocation of added value and profit or relationship between developed and undeveloped world. With raising social awareness and popularization of active citizenship, the corporations are increasingly scrutinized by non-governmental organizations, social movements, informal civilian groups, whose activities they want to directly influence the operation of the company or at least indirectly shape the business environment. As will be later defined, non-governmental organizations represent a variety of interests, from the narrow political or business to general social interests when acting on behalf of the broadest civil initiatives and seeking to protect the general social values, such as the environment, health, social development, education, uniform distribution of goods or generalized equitable global development.
The present master thesis deals with the study and research of the characteristics and dynamics of the ecosystem, which consists of non-governmental organizations, global companies, interested public and the media, monitoring such activities. Research of the characteristics of relations, links, dependencies and activities involved are based on the application, analyzing and interpreting the results of knowledge discovery in a SigWatch database. Portal SigWatch and collected data are concentrating mainly on the functioning of such NGOs.
In master thesis we present the information system, respectively SigWatch portal, created data models, processes and information systems to discover new insights about the functioning of non-governmental organizations. Models, new insights and knowledge are critically evaluated, assessed their value and indicated the possibility of further steps in the detection of rules and knowledge in this ecosystem. |
