Abstract

Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz dveh delov. V prvem, teoretičnem delu, smo opredelili pojem motivacije, definirali motive in spoznali motivacijske dejavnike. Opisali smo številne motivacijske teorije, ki so managerjem danes osnova pri motiviranju zaposlenih. V drugem, raziskovalnem delu, smo predstavili podjetje, ki želi ostati neimenovano. Poimenovali smo ga podjetje X. V podjetju je bila s pomočjo ankete izvedena raziskava, ki je pokazala, da so zaposleni v podjetju X motivirani za delo, da je splošno vzdušje v podjetju dobro in da so zaposleni zadovoljni z medsebojnimi odnosi. Raziskava je pokazala tudi, da se večina zaposlenih motivira sama, da zaposlene moti slaba organizacija in napačne odločitve vodstva ter da želijo biti obveščeni o aktualnih zadevah v podjetju. Zaključili smo, da pri zaposlenih v podjetju X denar ni glavni motivacijski dejavnik. Zaposleni so kot pomembnejše motivacijske dejavnike izpostavili dobro opravljeno delo, varnost zaposlitve, medsebojne odnose, zanimivost dela, pohvalo s strani nadrejenih in sodelavcev ter delovne pogoje.

Secondary title: Motivation and motivational factors in company X
Secondary abstract: The thesis consists from two parts. In the first, theoretical part, we are identifying the term of motivation, defining motives and introducing motivational factors. We are describing many motivational theories which are basics for managers to motivate their employees. In the second, research part, we are presenting a company which wants to stay anonymous. We have named it company X. We did a research inside the company based on survey. The survey has shown that employees of company X are motivated for work; the organisational climate inside the company is good and employees are satisfied with relationships with coworkers. The survey revealed that most of employees are self motivated and bothered with poor organization and bad decisions of management. Employees want to be informed about the news in the company. We have come to conclusion that money is not the main motivational factor for employees at the company X. The employees have highlighted other factors such as job well done, job security, team relationships, interesting work, management’s and coworker’s commendation and working conditions.
