Secondary abstract: | The thesis describes a system for monitoring plant growth. The described system measures height of the plants on more positions above the plants. For measuring we used ultrasonic (HC-SR04) and infrared (Sharp GP2Y0A21Y and Sharp GP2Y0A02YK) sensors. We guide the sensors 80 cm above the plants. Guiding of the sensors and measurements were controlled by an Arduino Mega micro controller. We are showing 31 days of measurements, which are shown and commented. In the end we proposed some improvements and the usability of the system to measure plant growth. |
