Abstract

Diplomski seminar obravnava medgeneracijsko sodelovanje v organizacijah.

Secondary title: Intergenerational cooperation in the organization
Secondary abstract: The subject of this graduate seminar is intergenerational cooperation in organisations. We begin by generally defining management of human resources, its function and development. We continue with a discussion about the employees, known generations and the aging of the workforce. In conclusion we focus on the central theme of the seminar; intergenerational cooperation, its dimensions, advantages and the concepts of intergenerational cooperation. Intergenerational cooperation is extremely important for an organisation because the older employees share vital skills and expertise that the younger generation can put to good use. Meanwhile the younger generation can impart their theoretical knowledge obtained from education that wasn't available to the older generation at the time of their studies.
