Abstract

V današnjem svetu se vsakodnevno srečujemo s problematiko prekomernega onesnaževanja naravnega okolja in poseganja vanj. Posledice tega se kažejo v spreminjanju podnebja, vplivu na zdravje ljudi, zmanjševanju količine neobnovljivih virov, slabši kakovosti zraka … Za reševanje takšnih problemov je razvita metoda analize življenjskega cikla izdelka, s katero se oceni vpliv proizvoda ali procesa na okolje. Glede na rezultate analize je možno izbrati okoljsko najsprejemljivejši izdelek. Tema diplomskega dela se nanaša na analizo življenjskega cikla izdelka; analiziran izdelek je LED ulična svetilka. Za analizo je uporabljen program Sima Pro Demo, s pomočjo katerega se pridobi natančen vpogled v okoljski vpliv izdelka na okolje. V obravnavanem primeru je to proizvodnja aluminija.

Secondary abstract: In today’s world we have a lot of problems with excessive pollution and affecting the environment. The consequences of this are reflected in global warming, impact on human health, reducing the amount of non – renewable resources, quality of the air, … To solve these problems the scientists have developed a method named life cycle assessment or LCA. With this method we can estimate the impact of a product or process on the environment. According to the results of the analysis we can select and use environmentally more acceptable product. The thesis deals with life cycle assessment of the LED street light. For analysis we have used program named Sima Pro Demo. Results of the analysis are impacts of LED light production on the environment. The biggest impact on the environment in our case is aluminum production. With analysis like that we can have a good impression about the environmental impact of the product or process on the environment.
