Abstract

V diplomskem delu je obravnavan izrek o metulju. Zapisan je sam izrek ter različni dokazi, katere so v različnih obdobjih dokazali razni matematiki. Na začetku je predstavljen sam izrek in nekaj zgodovinskih zanimivosti. V nadaljevanju so predstavljeni uvodni pojmi in rezultati, ki jih bomo rabili za dokazovanje izreka o metulju skozi celotno diplomsko nalogo. Od drugega poglavja dalje bo podrobneje in s slikami predstavljenih osem dokazov izreka o metulju.

Secondary abstract:	In the diploma paper we consider the butterfly theorem. The paper contains the theorem itself and different proofs, proven in different periods, by different mathematics. First we present the theorem and a couple of historical facts. Further there are ideas and results, which were used throughout the entire diploma paper to prove the butterfly theorem. From the second chapter on there are images and a detailed description of the eight proves of the butterfly theorem.
