Abstract

Secondary title: Optimization model of actuatoring in sanitary systems
Secondary abstract: This paper presents a model to optimize the crank mechanism, which is one of the key elements of flush valve intended for installation in sanitary systems. The main function of the mechanism is to ensure the appropriate distribution of the ratio between stroke of the button keys and stroke of the seal holder, which has a direct impact on the necessary activating force of the mechanism. Aim of the project is to develop optimization program using methods of evolutionary computation - genetic algorithms - in software package Visual Basic, and so find the geometry of a mechanism which ensures a minimum activating force and also parallel check if the geometry of the mechanism, which has been used as a base of case study already optimally designed.
