Abstract
Napredovaliso v vzdržljivosti ramenskega obroča in moči rok. Poleg napredovanja v mišični vzdržljivosti so učenci vzljubili šport in se pričeli samoiniciativno vključevati v različne gibalne dejavnosti.

The programme for muscular endurance development of shoulder girdle and arms for students with mild intellectual dissabilities |
Secondary abstract: |
Greater muscular endurance helps children with intellectual disabilities when dealing with daily activities, such as carrying a school bag, throwing and catching a ball, taking part in a group game, unscrewing caps, climbing, and engaging in other activities.
We have created a training programme for developing muscular endurance of shoulder girdle and arms, which is based on professional resources and literature. In our case the research included children from Special Education Programme of DaniloLokar Primary SchoolAjdovščina. 8students, aged 12-15 and with mild intellectual disabilities were involved in the research. The experimental group consisted of 4 students and the control group consisted of 4 students as well. Students of the experimental group were involved in a training programme which lasted 3 months. We measured the strength of their shoulder girdle and their arm before the start of the programme, during the programme and when the programme ended. We found out that the programme had positive effects on the students.
Research showed that students of the experimental group achieved better results than the students of the control group. |
