Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je bil ugotovitev pojavljanja, razporeditve in številčnosti izbranih invazivnih tujerodnih rastlin ob spodnjem toku reke Krke od Otočca do izliva v Krški vasi.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the study was assessment of the occurrence, distribution and abundance of selected invasive alien plant species along the Krka river from Otočec to the outflow to river Sava in Krška vas. The inventory was held twice in the year 2012 in all 96 sections and in 2014 in 10 control sections on the right bank. The lengths of the segments were determined on the basis of environmental factors, or on the basis of occurrence of invasive alien plant species. We recorded a total of 18 invasive alien plant species. The most frequently found were the following species: Echinocystis lobata, Erigeron annuus, Robinia pseudacacia, Ambrosia artemisiifolia and Solidago gigantea. We determined the phenological stage, vitality, life form for all alien plant species encountered. Echinocystis lobata was mostly present and in time of the study it was in flowering stage.
