Abstract
Z razvojem pouka na slovenskih tleh se je razvijal tudi pouk zgodovine. Razvoj je prinesel napredke tudi v poučevanju neevropske zgodovine. Ta je bila v preteklosti, predvsem do časa po drugi svetovni vojni, v naših učbenikih in učnih načrtih zelo slabo zastopana. Posodobitve učnih načrtov so v pouk zgodovine prinesle tudi širšo vsebino neevropske zgodovine. Področje Azije je bilo pri pouku zgodovine sprva zelo slabo zajeto. Omenjala se je samo pri vsebinah, ki so se nanašale na zgodnje visoke kulture, šele kasneje se je začela obravnavati podrobneje, vendar še vedno zelo na splošno. Azija je največja celina na svetu in premore veliko različnih kultur in narodov z lastno preteklostjo, ki je pogostokrat tesno povezana z evropsko in bi jo bilo potrebno podrobneje obravnavati. Poznavanje preteklosti nam prinaša razumevanje sedanjosti, zato bi se učenci morali čim bolj seznanjati z zgodovino in življenjem različnih kultur sveta, saj bodo lahko le tako razvili spoštovanje in razumevanje do vsakega posameznika, ne glede na to od kod prihaja.

Secondary abstract: |
With the development of school in Slovenia, the history lessons have also developed. The development has brought progress in giving lessons about non-European history. This has been very poorly represented in our textbooks and curricula. The time after the Second World War brought changes in curricula and extended contents of non-European history in history lessons. The area of Asia was very poorly captured in our history lessons. At first it was only mentioned at contents about early high cultures. Later on it was discussed in more detail but this remained a general description. Asia is the biggest continent in the world and it consists of a lot of different cultures and nations with their own history which is often strongly connected with European history and it should be treated in more detail. Knowing the past leads us to understanding the present and with this purpose learners should be more acquainted with the history and life of different world cultures, because this will bring them to respect and understand every individual, no matter where he or she comes from. |
