diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študija Organizacija in management kadrovsko-izobraževalnih sistemov
Abstract
Diplomsko delo predstavlja problem pomanjkanja usposabljanja v Domu starejših občanov Kamnik (v nadaljevanju dom).

Healthcare workers´ training at the Kamnik residential care home for elderly |
Secondary abstract: |
This paper deals with the problem of the lack of trainng at the Kamnik residential home for the elderly (henceforth referred to as the home). A survey regarding the training of healthcare workers was conducted at the home. Registered nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical tehnicians and carers were included in the survey. In the first part of the paper we present the theoretical bases for training, the process of training, the demands for training, the formation and development of training programmes and finally its evaluation. The Kamnik residential home for the elderly is also presented. In the second part we present the findings reached by analysing the data gatherd in the survey, namely that the home provides some training for healthcare workers but not enough according to the terms of the collective contract. It was also discovered that the physiotherapists participate in most training seminars. The employees are motivated to take part in seminars. The kills acquired through training have a significant impact on the work at the home. Some suggestions for improvements are also given. |
