Abstract

Pri uporabi interneta se srečamo s pojmom družbena omrežja. Družbena omrežja so torej spletne strani, ki nam omogočajo aktivnosti, kot na primer povezovanje s starimi ali novimi prijatelji. Eno izmed najbolj prepoznavnih družbenih omrežij je Facebook, ki ima veliko število registriranih uporabnikov. Ker število članov vsakodnevno narašča, ob tem pa tudi količina podanih javnih podatkov, je zelo pomembna varnost informacij. Da bi ugotovili, kakšna je povezava med aplikacijami, ljudmi in podatki, smo izvedli anketni vprašalnik. V uvodnem delu smo predstavili osnovne pojme ter z vidika varnosti predstavili uporabo aplikacij. Rezultati ankete so pokazali, da kljub zavedanju o predaji podatkov anketiranci brez slabih izkušenj uporabljajo aplikacije.

Secondary title: Data security with the use of applications on the social networking website Facebook
Secondary abstract: While using the internet, we meet with the concept of social network. Social network is defined as a website which allows us to easily connect with our old and new friends. One of the most widely known social networks is Facebook. The website has a high number of registered users, and it is still growing. Consequently, the number of given public information is growing, too. That is the reason why it is necessary to ensure the security of this kind of information. In order to find out the relations between applications, people, and given information, we decided to conduct a survey. Firstly, we present the basic concepts, and introduce the usage of applications in terms of safety. Then the results of the survey are presented. The results of the survey have shown that although the users are familiar with the risks of sharing their information, they still use the applications because they have no bad experiences.
