Abstract

Motiv deklice brez rok je eden izmed odprtih motivov v ATU indeksu tip a 510, ki se pojavlja v različnih inačicah in kulturah. Različice se povezujejo s pravljicami Pepelka , Oblek a iz zlata, sreba in zvezd, O slovsk a koža, Kosmatink a , Princes a v skrinji idr. O tem motivu so poglobljeno razpravljali Marie Louise von Franz v knjigi The Feminine in Fairy Tales (1972, 1993), Clarissa Pinkola Estes v Women who run with Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Arc hetype (1997), Jack Zipes v The Great Fairy Tale Tradition: From Straparola and Basile to the Brothers Grimm (2001) in drugi

Secondary abstract: Paper shows comparative analysis of folktales of handless maiden (ATU 706) type in correlation with Cinderella (AR 510 B) type. In the introduction a re presented the previous variants (Straparola, Basile, Perrault, Grim, Gonzenbach) and three Slovenian variants e. G. Lord's wife , Handless maiden and Stepmother . The paper applies feminist approach by Marie Louise von Franz and Clarisse Pinkola Estes and sociological by Jack Zipes that research es this type as motif of incestuous and betrayed father. This motif is part of European culture from Greek, Bible, and medieval and new era. The research emphasises the differences between European and Slovenian var iants and also between Slovenian variants .
