Abstract

V diplomskem delu proučujemo vpliv organizacijske kulture na uspešnost podjetja. V uvodnem delu najprej teoretično opredelimo pojma organizacija ter organizacijska kultura. Nato predstavimo teoretično najbolj uveljavljene tipologije organizacijskih kultur. V nadaljevanju smo se lotili proučevanja ključnih elementov organizacijske kulture ter ugotavljanja njenih funkcij in vlog v organizaciji. V tem okviru smo ugotovili, da je elemente organizacijske kulture mogoče najti prav na vseh področjih in nivojih delovanja podjetja. Organizacijska kultura namreč določa ravnanje in obnašanje zaposlenih pri izvajanju vsakodnevnih nalog. V tem okviru so med najpomembnejšimi denimo način komuniciranja s sodelavci, dobavitelji in strankami, pripadnost podjetju, način reševanja sporov, vrednote, motivacija zaposlenih… V drugi polovici diplomskega dela smo se ukvarjali s proučevanjem procesov nastajanja in spreminjanja organizacijske kulture. Če želi podjetje omenjena procesa načrtno spreminjati, je nujno da management v podjetju pozna vse elemente organizacijske kulture, obenem pa se mora za sistematični pristop k njenem spreminjanju, zavedati vseh glavnih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na razvoj organizacijske kulture. V zadnjem delu predstavimo še smernice in trende razvoja organizacijske kulture pri sodobnih podjetjih. Ugotovili smo, da se uspešna sodobna podjetja osredotočajo predvsem na človeške vire, precejšnjo pozornost pa posvečajo tudi razvoju timskega duha.

Secondary abstract: The thesis examines the impact of organizational culture on performance. In the introductory part we first theoretically define the concept of organization and organizational culture. Then we present the most established theoretical typologies of organizational cultures. Following introductory part, we focused on studying the key elements of the organizational culture and the assessment of its functions and roles within the organization. In this context, we find that the elements of organizational culture can be found in all areas and levels of the company, as organizational culture defines employee behavior and the attitude towards carrying out daily tasks. In this context for example, are among the most important elements communicating with colleagues, suppliers and clients, commitment to the company, the manner of resolving disputes, values, motivation of the employees… In the second part of the thesis we have dealt with the study of process of formation and development of organizational culture. If a company wants to deliberately change this process, it is essential that the management of the company is aware of all the elements and major factors affecting development of the organizational culture. At the same time, systematic approach must be taken. In the last section we present further guidelines and trends of development of organizational culture in modern enterprises. We have found that successful modern companies focus primarily on human resources. Apart from that, considerable attention has been devoted to the development of team spirit.
