diplomsko delo
Abstract
Empirični del diplomskega dela opisuje razvoj, odraščanje in življenje Matevža.

Secondary abstract: |
Diploma thesis introduces and describes life of a person whose condition was diagnosed as a combination of autistic disorder spectrum and mental growth disorder.
It bases on study case of a person with autistic disorder spectrum and mental growth disorder.
Theoretical part of Diploma thesis focuses on theoretical starting points of autistic disorder spectrum, mental growth disorders and socialization.
Empirical part of Diploma thesis describes development, growing period and life of Matevž.
His growing period, learning and process of socialization are divided into age of youth, juvenility and Matevž in present age as an adult, already formed person.
Source of information, we were getting from, was his parents, medical records, individualized programmes through learning and study process, and an interview with a Head of Occupational Activity Center where Matevž has actively been presently involved.
In Diploma thesis there have also been an interview with his mother, description and reflexion of empirical learning workshops focusing on self-image and emoting.
Ten workshops were performed ,with main goal for the person with autistic disorder spectrum and mental growth disorder to gain new knowledge and skills in the area of developing positive self-image and emoting, influencing on development of socialization in the process of life-long learning.
Through individual games of self-image workshops Matevž got to know himself, his way of experiencing, his reactions better.
This way he enriched his thinking of himself and about his own life.
At the end of first part of self-image workshops he could find his good characteristics and skills. He was capable to communicate about himself to the group, to compliment himself. He was proud of himself. This way he was strengthening self-confidence and building up self-image.
Through training of emotional literacy (alphabet) games he has learnt a great deal about emotions and experiencing emotions.
He was learning about adequate forms of positive reacting in various emotional situations. At the end of second part of workshops of emoting he could recognize a particular emotion and was able to differentiate among them. He was capable to express an emotion. For adequate expressing emotions he will need more exercises and repetitions of expressing emotions and a great deal of encouragement.
Mother's observation and observations of Occupational Activity Center therapists on Matevž's responses after performed workshops are interesting. They have noticed that Matevž expresses his emotions more explicitly. They have found out that the ammount of inadequate behaviour or reacting in explicit uncomfortable situations for him have diminished.
Matevž started to establish interpersonal contacts with other inmates. He also showed progress in cooperative behaviour in group. |
