Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vpliv spola na sprejemanje umetniških del v obdobju kubizma je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. Poglavitni namen dela je bil predstaviti otrokom v starosti 5-6 let reprodukcije desetih umetniških del iz obdobja impresionizma in kubizma. Informacije so bile pridobljene s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, s katerim se je ugotavljalo, ali spol otrok vpliva na sprejemanje umetniškega dela v kubizmu in katera umetniška dela so jim bolj všeč - tista iz obdobja kubizma ali tista iz impresionizma. V obzir je bil vzet tudi vpliv spola na izbor motiva pri umetniškem delu. V teoretičnem delu je na splošno predstavljen otrokov razvoj. Delo se osredotoča na likovno in barvno izražanje otrok, na primerjavo med spoloma glede odnosa do umetniških del (motiv, likovni kriterij), podrobneje pa je predstavljeno obdobje kubizma. Dodatno je opravljena tudi raziskava diplomantke Jasmine Jogić, ki je potekala vzporedno. V empiričnem delu je predstavljena raziskava vpliva spola na sprejemanje umetniških del. Podatki, ki so bili pridobljeni s pomočjo ankete, so analizirani in statistično obdelani. Rezultati so interpretirani v sklepu in prikazani v obliki tabel in grafov.

Secondary abstract: This thesis, entitled The impact of gender on the perception of Cubist art, consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. Its main purpose was to show 10 reproductions of impressionist and Cubist works to children aged from 5 to 6 years. The data was obtained using a survey questionnaire. The goal was to determine whether the child's gender affects their perception of a Cubist piece of art and whether they prefer works from the period of Cubism or impressionism. Another aim was to explore whether gender impacts the motif selection. As for the theoretical part of the thesis, it provides a general overview of child development, focusing the way children express themselves through art and colours. Moreover, it presents in detail the Cubism period and compares the attitude of both genders towards the selected pieces of art (motif, artistic criterion). The results were compared to the results of a parallel research conducted by Jasmina Jogić, also a student. The empirical part revolves around the research on the impact of gender on the perception of artistic creations. The data, which was obtained through a survey, was analysed and statistically processed. The results are interpreted in the final part of the thesis and displayed with tables and graphs.
