Abstract

V diplomskem delu obravnavam poučevanje geometrije s pomočjo okrogle geoplošče. Dandanes je geoplošča uporabljana predvsem na razredni stopnji, na predmetni stopnji jo srečamo le redko. Pri tem se v šolah skoraj izključno uporabljajo kvadratne geoplošče, sama pa sem obravnavala okroglo geoploščo. V teoretičnem delu predstavljam značilnosti okrogle geoplošče in predvsem kako jo lahko vključimo v pouk matematike na predmetni stopnji. Geoploščo povežem z van Hielovo doktrino in Brunerjevo klasifikacijo reprezentacij. Uporabim pa jo tudi kot sredstvo matematičnega preiskovanja, zato obravnavo navežem na Frobisherjevo shemo preiskovanja. Empirični del naloge temelji na pilotski raziskavi, v okviru katere sem z izvedeno aktivnostjo na okrogli geoplošči v razredu pokazala, da učno šibkejši učenci ob okrogli geoplošči bolje razumejo učno snov, kot bi jo brez nje.

Secondary title: Activities on circular geoboard
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis is about teaching geometry with the help of circular geoboards. Nowadays geoboards are used mostly at primary level of education, and only rarely in the lower secondary level. Furthermore, almost exclusively square geoboards are used, and not the circular geoboards, which are considered in the thesis. In the theoretical part of the thesis I thus consider how to incorporate circular geoboard in mathematics classes at lower secondary level. I relate the geoboard with van Hiele’s doctrine and Bruner’s classification of representations. I consider the circular geoboard also as a means for mathematical investigations using the Frobisher’s schema of investigation. The empirical part of the thesis is based on a pilot research. The aim of the research was to show that students with learning difficulties obtain better learning outcomes if they learn circle geometry using circular geoboards.
