Abstract

V teoretičnem delu smo s pomočjo strokovne literature predstavili vlogo in pomen likovnega izražanja, vizualno mišljenje, risanje in njegove zmote ter razvoj otrokovega likovnega izražanja glede na risanje človeške figure. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili poglavje risanje človeške figure in podrobno opisali posamične faze. Predstavili smo še značilnosti likovnega izražanja in različne metode dela.

Secondary title: Different drawing techniques and their influence on human figure drawing in the preschool period
Secondary abstract: The theoretical part of the thesis is based on scientific literature and it presents the role and the importance of artistic expression, visual thinking, and drawing and its predicament and development of the child's artistic expression in relation to human figure drawing. The theoretical part of the thesis also includes the chapter that focuses on human figure drawing and it gives a detailed description of the individual phases. Furthermore, the characteristics of the artistic expression and a variety of methods are presented. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the effect of visual and verbal methods on the human figure drawing. We were interested in the differences based on the selected method in the depiction of details while drawing human figures. We prepared two parallel lesson plans, which differed in the application of methods. These two lesson plans were used in Oton Zupančič Kindergarten in Slovenska Bistrica, more specifically in six kindergarten classes, age range 4-6 years, in the so called Ciciban unit. The study included 111 children and it was divided into two parts, so that 56 children participated in art activities that implemented verbal method and 55 children participated in art activities that implemented visual methods. Acquired products are analysed and absolute and percentage frequencies are calculated. The results are interpreted and presented through charts and graphs.
