Secondary abstract: | The purpose of this diploma work is the design and the structural analysis of the steel suspension train bridge over the span of 75 m. The whole length of the bridge is 125 m and width of the bridge is 6.0 m. The pylons are 30 m height with main cables 200 mm of diameter hanged over them. The deck of the bridge is made of steel beams. Steel is S 355. A short review of the history of the railway suspension bridge and most popular bridges over the world, the theory of suspension bridge and basic equations for calculating steel structures are described in the preface. European standard Eurocode 1 and 3 were used. The self- weight and self-manufacturing cost of bridge are calculated at the end of diploma. |
