diplomsko delo

Abstract

V diplomskem delu predstavljam vzajemno delovanje dveh metod, in sicer metodo benchmarkinga in metodo analitičnega hierarhičnega procesa.

Secondary title: ǂThe ǂuse of the analytic hierarchy process and benchmarking in case of selection computer package for accounting services
Secondary abstract: In the thesis we present the interaction of two methods: the benchmarking method and the analytic hierarchy process method. The AHP method is a method of multi-criteria decision-making which we, consciously or unconsciously, use every day. With each problem, which has many solutions, versions or alternatives, we have to take in consideration several criteria which help us choose the best solution. With the method of benchmarking or comparative analysis, we are looking for the most successful ways of achieving results, which we try to use in our own practice. The purpose of the thesis is to study the decision making process on purchasing a new software package in selected accounting service ''x''. Lets look into theoretical facts first; we present the interpretation of multi-criteria decision making and benchmarking, and fruher we introduce criteria and attributes which have extensive importance in case of selection one of three providers of software that will be used in the accounting service. We tie theory with practical case in analytical part. Decision-making process is shown step by step, as we describe them in theoretical part, by help with computer program Expert Choice. When we get the best solution or the best provider of software, according to multiple criteria, this is a company SAOP Ltd. with program package MiniMAX, we accomplish research with benchmarking; we compare program package Yuce, which is currently used in accounting service ''x'', with the best alternative. Program package MiniMAX is better from program package Yuce especially in areas of usability, which accounting service ''x'' wants to improve with the purchasing of a new programe package.
