Secondary abstract: | With program language Python a computer model of a tube&shell heat exchanger was created. Calculations are based on e-NTU method. Physical properties of medium and dimensionless numbers are calculated by means of interpolation at each iteration. Model calculates dynamic and static performance of heat exchanger for water-water and water-steam systems. Exergy and energy efficeny of heat exchanger improves with increased number of bafflers and is also influenced by capacity ratio of both media. Both efficencies as functions of capacity ratio are not propotional. |
