Abstract
Pop art je grafično gibanje, katero se je razvilo v zgodnjih 60. tih letih v Ameriki in Veliki Britaniji. Umetniki pod vplivom gibanja so v svojih delih izpodrivali unikatnost in ustvarjali motive, ki so odražali trenutno popularno stanje v državi. Motivi so bazirali na osnovi masovne potrošnje, zvezdnikih, patriotizmu in vsakdanjih popularnih elementih v življenju. Pop art je bilo lažje prepoznati na ulici, saj je nosil zelo očitno sporočilo, brez globjih pomenov. Gibanje je pustilo močan vpliv na oglaševalsko industrijo in grafično oblikovanje. Med vsemi sodobnimi stili grafičnega oblikovanja se vedno bolj vračamo na retrospektivo iz 60. tih. V delih uporabljamo predmete vsakdanjega življenja, žive primarne barve, poslužujemo se stripov in dramatičnih karakterjev. S temi aspekti gibanja pop art poskušamo postati drugačni, privlačiti pozornost in v ospredje postaviti bistvo.

Secondary abstract: |
Pop art is a graphic movement which was born in the early 60s in United States and Great Britain. Pop art artists have used motives in their works that was avoiding originality but describing the current popular state. The main motives of their works in the 60s were the mass consumerism, celebrities, patriotism and every day objects. Everyone could recognize the movement on the street, because its meaning was obvious to everyone. Pop art influenced the advertising industry and graphic design in general. Nowadays in contemporary graphic design, we still reach for the nostalgia and for the retro and vintage styles that were popular in the 60s. We are constantly changing the motives, making our works look younger, inovative, fun, dramatic and daring which were also the main aspects of pop art. |
