Abstract

Grafični uporabniški vmesnik je tisti del elektronske naprave (v našem primeru računalnika), ki olajša komunikacijo med programskim delom naprave in uporabnikom. Gre za slikovni ali grafični prikaz funkcionalnosti programskega dela naprave, ki bazira na abstraktnem nivoju natančnega programiranja informacijskih strokovnjakov. Da bi bili omenjeni programi dostopni in enostavni za upravljanje tudi laikom, potrebujejo dober grafični uporabniški vmesnik. Za snovanje in izdelavo le-tega moramo upoštevati več vidikov, predvsem psihološkega, ergonomskega in likovno-teoretskega. Likovna teorija, ki jo danes poznamo, temelji na raziskavah človekovega dojemanja zunanjega sveta in povratno tudi na vplivu vizualnih sredstev na človeka. Grafični uporabniški vmesnik namreč ni zgolj sličica na programski osnovi, ampak natančno premišljena slikovna oziroma grafična podlaga za upravljanje z različnimi računalniškimi sistemi in programi. Pričujoče diplomsko delo skozi teorijo, raziskavo in praktično delo na omenjenem področju potrjuje zgoraj navedeno.

Secondary abstract: Graphic user interface is a part of an electronic device (in our case a computer) which makes communication between software and user easier. It is a picture or graphic presentation of functional software part of a device based on abstract level of accurate programming of information experts. If we want that the mentioned programmes are available and easy for managing to laymen as well, we need a good graphic user interface. For making and using of it, we have to consider more aspects (especially psychological, ergonomic, and artistic-theoretical). Art theory as we know today is based on researches of human perception of outer world and as a feedback about the influence of visual means on human. Graphic user interface is not only a picture on software base but also accurately deliberate picture or graphic base for different computer systems and programmes managing. The diploma thesis confirms the stated through the theory, research, and practical work.
