Sekundarni povzetek: Software represents an integral part of computer systems. It enables users to perform various automated tasks and thus meets their needs. In the software world a lot of good and harmful software can be found. Despite a large supply of licensed, free and open-source software, there is also a lot of illegal software which is gained and used illegally. The use of illegal software can lead to various negative consequences which can only be avoided with proper use. It is necessary to obtain as much information about safe behaviour as possible and to behave in line with guidelines. The thesis deals with information security culture of the users of illegal software. Our research examined if users behave according to their knowledge and awareness of the dangers of illegal software. It has been established that most people who use illegal software do not behave in a safe manner. Unfortunately, based on the results, it cannot be said that most people are aware of the dangers of illegal software.
