Povzetek

V magistrskem delu smo raziskovali prisotnost narodne in nacionalne identitete med učenci 7. in 8. razredov osnovne šole. Še posebej nas je zanimala prisotnost dualne identitete. Raziskovali smo, kdo in kaj vpliva na razvoj otrokove nacionalne oziroma narodne identitete in preverjali, v kolikšni meri je za to odgovorna šola. Pri tem smo se osredotočili na vsebino, učbenike in učni načrt predmeta domovinska in državljanska kultura in etika. V empiričnem delu smo opravili anketo, znotraj katere smo posameznike spraševali po njihovem mnenju o lastni narodni in nacionalni identiteti. To smo preverjali skozi sklope vprašanj, ki so povezani s kognitivno in emocionalno dimenzijo nacionalne in narodne identitete ter jezikovno tekočnostjo (branje, pisanje, govor). Podatke smo obdelali s programom SPSS. Vzporedno z anketo smo analizirali učbenika za Državljansko in domovinsko vzgojo ter etiko, kot tudi učni načrt predmeta. Iskali smo predvsem pogostost izpostavljanja narodne in nacionalne identitete v besedilu in skozi slikovno gradivo učbenikov.

Sekundarni naslov: National and ethnic identitiy of pupils in 7th and 8th grade of elementary school and measure of both in civic textbooks
Sekundarni povzetek: In the dissertation we researched the presence of ethnic and national identity among pupils in the 7. and 8. grade in primary school. We were especially interested in the presence of dual identity. We have researched who we are and what influences the development of a child's national identity and the extent to which the school is responsible. We focused on the content, textbooks and the curriculum of the subject Civics and Ethical Education. In the empirical part we carried out a survey, within which we asked individuals about their opinions connected to their own ethnic and national identity. We checked this with the help of sets of questions that relate to cognitive and emotional dimensions of ethnic and national identity, as well as with linguistic fluency (reading, writing, speaking). We processed the data with the program SPSS. In parallel with the survey, we analysed the textbook for Civics and Ethical education as well as the curriculum of the subject. We looked primarily for the frequency of exposure of ethnic and national identity in the text and through visual materials in the books. For this we used coding of words. We have noted that many immigrant students choose dual ethnic and national identity and that the family is largely responsible for this. When examining the textbooks, we found that they cover the content on ethnic and national identity to a lesser extent.
