Povzetek

Na začetku magistrskega dela je opis Pärtovega zgodnjega življenja, eskperimentiranja z različnimi glasbenimi slogi ter njegove prve skladbe. Njegovo najbolj kontroverzno delo Credo, ki je glede na stanje v komunistčni Estoniji bilo neprimerno za tisti čas. Sledi duhovno usmerjeno obdobje v katerem Pärt začne razvijati svoj revolucionarni stil tintinnabuli. Nato opišem njegova zgodnja dela napisana v tintinnabuli stilu. Osrednji del magistrskega dela predstavlja analiza Pärtovega dela Spiegel im Spiegel. V zaključku seminarske opišem skladateljevo glasbeno pot po 1980 in vrnitev iz Berlina v Estoniju.

Pärtʹs most controversial work Credo that was inappropriate for the situation in communist Estonia at the time is analysed. Followed by a spiritual period in which Pärt began to develop his revolutionary style tintinnabuli. Description of his early works in tintinnabuli style is given. The central part of the masters thesis is the analysis of Pärts work Spiegel im Spiegel. In the conclusion of the thesis the composers musical path after 1980 and return from Berlin to Estonia are describeds most controversial work Credo that was inappropriate for the situation in communist Estonia at the time is analysed.
