Povzetek

Povzetek Uvod: Pandemija COVIDA-19 je povzročila paniko po vsem svetu, predvsem zaradi specifičnih značilnosti COVIDA-19. Pri otrocih je verjetnost, da se bodo resno okužili, bistveno manjša in po navadi zbolijo z blažjimi simptomi. Če je imunost pri otrocih oslabljena, morda organizem ne bo sposoben zaščititi pred različnimi okužbami. Možnost hude oblike bolezni COVID-19 pri otrocih z oslabljeno imunostjo je podobna kot pri okužbi z drugimi virusi. Metode: V zaključnem delu smo uporabili sistematični pristop dela z metodo pregleda, analize in sinteze znanstvene literature. V okviru zaključnega dela smo iskali literaturo v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah: PubMed, ScienceDirect, CINAHL ter Google Scholar. Določali smo vključitvene in izključitvene kriterije ter za prikaz poteka pregleda uporabili diagram PRISMA. Rezultati: Od 1015 identificiranih zadetkov smo jih v končno analizo vključili osemnajst. Na podlagi sinteze dobljenih podatkov smo identificirali dve temi sekundarne ravni, in to otroke z oslabljeno imunostjo in COVIDOM-19 ter diagnozo in zdravljenje COVIDA-19. Za prvo temo smo identificirali tri dodatne podteme, za drugo pa dve. Razprava in zaključek: V naši raziskavi o poteku bolezni COVID-19 pri otrocih z oslabljeno imunostjo smo ugotovili, da so imeli ti otroci večinoma blagi potek bolezni COVID-19. Zelo malo je podatkov o hudem poteku bolezni COVID-19. Izjemno pomembno je zaščititi otroke z oslabljeno imunostjo, še posebej ob trenutnih izzivih, s katerimi se sooča zdravstveni sistem po celem svetu.

Sekundarni povzetek: Abstract Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a lot of panic all around the world, mainly due to its the specific characteristics. Children are significantly less likely to become seriously infected and usually get milder symptoms. If the immune system in children is weakened, the body may not be able to protect itself against various infections. The potential for severe COVID-19 disease in immunocompromised children is similar to that of other viruses. Methodology: In the diploma thesis, we used a systematic approach to work with the method of review, analysis and synthesis of scientific literature. As part of the final work, we searched for literature in international databases: PubMed, ScienceDirect, CINAHL and Google Scholar. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were determined and the PRISMA diagram was used to show the course of the review. Results: Out of the 1,015 identified hits, eighteen were included in the final analysis. Based on the synthesis of the data obtained, we identified two secondary level topics, namely children with impaired immunity and COVID-19 and the second, the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19. We identified three additional subtopics for the first topic and two for the second. Discussion and conclusion: In our study of the course of COVID-19 disease in immunocompromised children, we found that these children had a mostly mild course of COVID-19 disease. There are very few data on the severe course of COVID-19 disease. It is of great importance to protect children with weakened immune systems, especially due to the challenges the healthcare system around the world is currently facing.
