Povzetek

V diplomskem delu Vloga vzgojitelja na prehranjevalne navade otrok v ruralnem okolju smo želeli ugotoviti, kakšna je seznanjenost vzgojiteljev v vrtcih na območju Slovenskih goric s Smernicami zdravega prehranjevanja v vzgojno-izobraževalnih ustanovah. Zanimalo nas je tudi njihovo mnenje glede vpliva prehranjevalnih navad, pridobljenih v otroštvu, na oblikovanje prehranskih navad v odraslosti in njihovi vlogi pri tem. Ugotavljali smo, kaj menijo glede svojega znanja in doseganja ciljev pri prehranjevanju otrok v skupini. Te ugotovitve smo pridobili z anketnim vprašalnikom. V raziskavi je sodelovalo vseh 35 vzgojiteljic iz vrtcev na tem področju. Na postavljena vprašanja so odgovarjale individualno. Izsledki raziskave so potrdili dejstvo, da so vzgojiteljice v tem okolju premalo seznanjene s Smernicami zdravega prehranjevanja v vzgojno-izobraževalnih ustanovah. Hkrati pa so prepričane, da imajo dovolj znanja s področja prehranjevanja otrok. Izsledki raziskave so potrdili hipotezo, da pri svojem delu delujejo spodbudno na prehranjevanje otrok in dosegajo cilje le-tega. Večina si jih želi izobraževanj s področja prehrane vsaki dve leti.

Sekundarni povzetek: In my diploma work, The role of an educator in nutritional habits of children in the rural environment, I wanted to establish how the educators in nursery schools in Slovenske gorice are acquainted with the directives of healthy nutrition in educational institutions. We were also interested in their opinion whether eating habits gained in childhood have influence on eating habits later in life. We wanted to know what is their role in forming these eating habits. We asked them about their knowledge regarding healthy nutrition and reaching goals at eating habits of children in their groups. We used a questionnaire for getting the answers. 35 educators from nursery schools in this area were involved in the research. They answered the questions individually. We have found out that the educators in this environment are not acquainted enough with the directives of healthy nutrition in educational institutions. However, they are convinced that they have enough knowledge about the topic (healthy nutrition). The research has confirmed the hypothesis that the educators act stimulating on eating habits and they reach goals. Most of the educators want to have instructions about the topic every two years.
