Povzetek

Poleg izobraževanja študentsko delo igra pomembno vlogo pri vstopu na trg dela, saj lahko poleg zaslužka študentje z njim pridobijo različne dragocene delovne izkušnje, veščine in kompetence. Omogočajo jim, da spoznajo delodajalce, trg dela in različna področja dela ter pridobijo poznanstva in reference, ki lahko po končanem študiju privedejo do prve zaposlitve. Izkušnje s študentskim delom so koristne ne glede na to, ali so povezane s področjem izobraževanja ali ne, cesar se zavedajo tudi anketiranci, ki se prav tako v večini strinjajo, da so jim pomagale pri prvi zaposlitvi. V magistrski nalogi se osredotočim na pravice in dolžnosti ter prednosti in slabosti študentskega dela tako za študente kot delodajalce. S pomočjo ankete, kamor sem vključila bivše študente, ki so se v zadnjih petih letih zaposlili in so v času študija opravljali študentsko delo, preučim in analiziram pomen delovnih izkušenj, pridobljenih s študentskim delom pri prvi zaposlitvi ter kakšne te izkušnje so. Ker je danes na voljo veliko različnih vrst študentskega dela, je predvsem od posameznika odvisno, koliko bo z njimi pridobil, zato je ključno, da se zaveda pomembnosti študentskega dela ter se zanj odloči premišljeno in z jasno zastavljenimi cilji. S tem lahko pridobi veliko koristnih izkušenj in izboljša svoje možnosti za uspešen vstop na trg dela.

Sekundarni povzetek: Student work plays a crucial role in entering the job market. It provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, skills, and competencies. Through student work, students can become familiar with employers, the job market, and various fields of work, as well as establish valuable connections and references that can lead to their first job after graduation. Regardless of whether the student work is related to their field of study or not, these experiences are valuable, as recognized by the surveyed individuals who agreed that their student work had helped them secure their first job. In my Master's thesis, I focus on the advantages and disadvantages of student work for both students and employers. Using a survey that includes former students who have completed student work during their studies, I examine and analyse the importance of work experience gained through student work in securing the first job, and the types of experiences gained. As there are many different types of student work available today, it is primarily up to the individual to decide how much they will gain from them. Therefore, it is crucial that individuals recognize the importance of student work and make a thoughtful decision with clear objectives in mind. By doing so, they can gain valuable experience and improve their chances of successfully entering the job market.
