Povzetek

Učenje na prostem prinaša učencem številne koristi. V magistrskem delu obravnavamo učenje na prostem, natančneje učno pot kot obliko izkustvenega učenja v naravi. Namen magistrskega dela je oblikovati in izvesti učno pot po domači pokrajini z učenci 4. razreda Osnovne šole Jarenina. V teoretičnem delu smo najprej predstavili temeljna didaktična izhodišča spoznavanja okolja in družbe, nato vlogo izkustvenega učenja in pomen pouka na prostem. Sledita učna pot in domača pokrajina s svojimi znamenitostmi. V praktičnem delu smo načrtovali, izvedli in ovrednotili učno pot. Osrednje vsebine učne poti so bile orientacija v domači pokrajini, naravna in kulturna dediščina ter naravni pojavi. Povratne informacije učencev smo zbrali z evalvacijskim vprašalnikom, odzive razredne učiteljice pa s pol strukturiranim intervjujem. Po izvedeni dejavnosti smo svoje delo evalvirali tudi sami. Ugotovili smo, da so učenci učno pot doživeli kot pozitivno, zanimivo in poučno izkušnjo. Med dejavnostjo so učenci aktivno sodelovali, pozorno opazovali okolico in povezovali že osvojeno znanje z novimi spoznanji. Razredna učiteljica je učno pot sprejela zelo pozitivno in podala spodbudne komentarje glede načrtovanja in izvedbe učne poti ter motiviranosti in sodelovanja učencev.

Sekundarni povzetek: Outdoor learning offers several benefits to students. This master's thesis explores outdoor learning, specifically the learning trail as a form of experiential learning in nature. The aim of the thesis was to create and implement a learning trail through the local landscape with the 4th-grade students of the Primary School Jarenina. In the theoretical part, we first presented the basic didactic principles of environmental and social studies education and the role of experiential learning and the importance of outdoor lessons. This is followed by an overview of the learning trail and the local landscape with its landmarks. In the practical part, we planned, carried out, and evaluated the learning trail. The main topics of the trail included orientation in the local environment, natural and cultural heritage, and natural phenomena. Feedback from the students was collected using an evaluation questionnaire, the classroom teacher’s response was obtained through a semi-structured interview. We also used a self-evaluation after the activity. The findings show that the students perceived the learning trail as a positive, engaging, and educational experience. During the activity, they participated actively, observed their surroundings attentively, and connected prior knowledge with new insights. The classroom teacher responded very positively to the learning trail, offering encouraging feedback regarding its planning and implementation, as well as the students' motivation and engagement.
