Povzetek
Sendvič kompoziti so zaradi svojih lastnosti, kot so: visoko razmerje trdnost-teža, korozijska odpornost, izboljšane mehanske lastnosti glede na tradicionalne materiale in možnost prilagajanja lastnosti glede na specifične potrebe, nadomestili nekatere v preteklosti uporabljene materiale. V magistrski nalogi je predstavljena eksperimentalna in numerična analiza dušenja vibracij sendvič kompozitov. Dušenje vibracij smo izvedli s pomočjo granulata, ki smo ga vstavili v satovje sendvič kompozita. Vpliv granulata in deleža polnitve satovja smo preučevali na stresalniku in opazovali zmanjšanje amplitude odziva pri resonančnih frekvencah glede na referenčni vzorec s praznim satovjem. Najboljše rezultate dosežejo tisti preizkušanci, ki imajo satovje napolnjeno na koncu konzolno vpetega preskušanca, saj se masa bistveno ne poveča glede na referenčni vzorec, a pride pri tem do znatnega znižanja amplitude odziva. Najboljši granulat po izdelanem kriteriju primerjave je presejena guma s 50 % deležem polnitve na koncu konzolnega preskušanca. 50 % delež polnitve doseže nižje amplitude odziva kot 25 % in 100 % delež polnitve satovja. Z rezultati numeričnih simulacij smo se povsem približali eksperimentalno pridobljenim vrednosti prve lastne frekvence sendvič kompozita brez dodanega granulata. Pri tem je bilo potrebno upoštevati togost podpore.

Experimental and numerical analysis of vibration damping in sandwich composites |

Sandwich composites, due to their properties such as: high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, improved mechanical properties compared to traditional materials, and the ability to tailor properties to specific needs, have replaced some of the materials used in the past. In the master's thesis, an experimental and numerical analysis of vibration damping of sandwich composites is presented. Vibration damping was performed using granulate, which was inserted into the honeycomb of the sandwich composite. The influence of the granulate and the filling ratio of the honeycomb was studied on a shaker and the reduction of response amplitude at resonant frequencies was observed in comparison to the reference sample with an empty honeycomb. The best results were achieved by those specimens, which had the honeycomb filled at the end of the cantilevered specimen, since the mass does not significantly increase compared to the reference sample, but there is a considerable decrease in a response amplitude. The best granulate according to the established comparison criterion was sieved rubber with a 50 % filling ratio at the end of the cantilevered specimen. The 50 % filling ratio achieved lower response amplitudes than the 25 % and 100 % honeycomb filling ratios. The results of numerical simulations were very close to the experimentally obtained value of the first natural frequency of the sandwich composite without added granulate. In doing so, it was necessary to take the stiffness of the support into account. |
