Sekundarni povzetek:	The diploma work deals with and justifies the use of different methods of puppet use for development of social adjustment during early childhood. In the theoretical part, divided into two main sections, the essential characteristics of social development of children in early childhood, their behavior in social interactions with peers and adults and the factors affecting the level of social adjustment in the preschool environment are summarized. Furthermore, various possible methods of working with puppets and characteristics of various types of dolls are discussed. The practical part presents the activities that were performed in the group using puppets. Based on results shown in the daily and final evaluation, we justified the use of puppets as a means of promoting and upgrading the social adjustment of children.

Povzetek (ePrints):	Diplomska naloga obravnava in utemeljuje uporabo različnih metod dela z lutkami za razvijanje socialne prilagojenosti otrok v prvem starostnem obdobju. V teoretičnem delu, ki je razdeljen na dve temeljni poglavji, povzemamo bistvene značilnosti socialnega razvoja otrok prvega starostnega obdobja, njihova vedenja v socialnih interakcijah z vrstniki in odraslimi ter dejavnike, ki vplivajo na stopnjo socialne prilagojenosti v vrtčevskem okolju. Nadalje obravnavamo različne metode dela z lutkami in značilnosti posameznih vrst lutk. V praktičnem delu so predstavljene dejavnosti, ki smo jih s pomočjo lutk izvedli v skupini. Na podlagi rezultatov, prikazanih v vsakodnevnem in končnem evalviranju, smo utemeljili uporabo lutk kot sredstva za spodbujanje in nadgrajevanje socialne prilagojenosti otrok.
