Sekundarni povzetek:	In an inclusive school everyone has the opportunity to learn and to attend regular classes with their classmates. Children with special needs often encounter various obstacles when they integrate into schools. The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the architectural barriers in schools in the Gorenjska region. The emphasis will be put on the accessibility of school gyms and premises next to them. Our sample comprised 22 schools: 20 primary schools and 2 secondary schools. The results imply that the schools provide limited access for physically disabled students while school gyms and changing rooms next to them are accessible for them. On the other hand, toilets beside the gyms are not fully accessible for a physically disabled student or for younger pupils. Sports equipment in the schools is made accessible for physically disabled children; there is an adequate space to install bigger sports equipment; however, outdoor facilities are partially or fully inaccessible for a physically disabled student.

Povzetek (ePrints):	V inkluzivni šoli ima vsak učenec priložnost, da sodeluje in je v razredu skupaj z vrstniki. Otroci s posebnimi potrebami pri vključevanju v šole pogosto naletijo na najrazličnejše ovire. Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati področje arhitektonskih ovir v šolah na Gorenjskem. Predvsem me je zanimalo stanje šolskih športnih dvoran in prostorov ob njih. V vzorec sem zajela 22 šol, od tega 20 osnovnih šol in 2 srednji šoli. Rezultati so pokazali, da šole nimajo ustreznega dostopa za učenca, ki je gibalno oviran; šolske športne dvorane in garderobe ob njih so dostopne za učenca, ki je gibalno oviran, sanitarije ob šolskih športnih dvoranah pa zanj niso dostopne, prav tako tudi ne za mlajše učence; šole imajo za učenca, ki je gibalno oviran ustrezen dostop do športnih orodij in pripomočkov; v šolah obstaja tudi ustrezen prehod za vnos večje športne opreme; zunanja športna igrišča pa so za učenca, ki je gibalno oviran, slabo dostopna ali celo nedostopna.
