Sekundarni povzetek:	Thesis addresses the storytelling language abilities. Telling is one of the key language features that a child forms by the age around 8. Mastery of these skills has a strong influence on some other development capabilities, such as the ability to communicate with other people, the ability to think, especially problem solving, developing self-image, understanding emotions and the linguistic competence of the child. The goal of my thesis was to highlight the importance of narrative research in children, especially in children with speech and language deficits, because insight into the characteristics of the child's narrative skills offers a good starting point to formulating appropriate speech therapy. In the empirical part, I focused on a concrete storytelling example of a child with language and speech deficits. I wanted to determine the child's level of storytelling and storytelling abilities progress, observed during our meetings.

Povzetek (ePrints):	Diplomsko delo obravnava področje jezikovne zmožnosti pripovedovanja zgodb. Pripovedovanje je ena izmed ključnih jezikovnih zmožnosti, ki se pri otroku izoblikujejo nekje do 8. leta starosti. Obvladanje te zmožnosti močno vpliva na nekatere druge razvojne zmožnosti, kot na primer na zmožnost komunikacije z drugimi ljudmi, na zmožnost mišljenja, predvsem reševanja problemov, in razvijanja lastne samopodobe, na razumevanje čustev ter na jezikovno kompetentnost otroka. Z diplomskim delom sem želela osvetliti pomen raziskovanja pripovedovanja pri otrocih, predvsem pri otrocih z govorno jezikovnimi primanjkljaji, saj nam lahko vpogled v značilnosti otrokovega pripovedovanja nudi dobro začetno izhodišče za oblikovanje ustrezne logopedske terapije. V empiričnem delu sem obravnavala konkreten primer pripovedovanja otroka s primanjkljaji na področju jezika in govora. Želela sem ugotoviti otrokovo raven pripovedovanja zgodb ter napredek pri zmožnosti pripovedovanja, opazen v času najinih srečanj.
