Sekundarni naslov: Spatial data infrastructure for land management in Africa - such as Ghana and Burkina Faso
Sekundarni povzetek: In the graduation thesis the importance of spatial data for land management in Africa is presented, namely in Ghana and Burkina Faso. Firstly, the basic spatial data infrastructure in Africa is presented, including the new African Geodetic Reference System in West Africa, the establishment of which was associated with the eradication of the poverty since many of objectives in this field are dependent on the maintenance of the qualitative spatial data. The role of spatial data by solving development problems in Africa is presented based on selected projects which have been implemented in the past in the study countries. In the field of poverty reduction, many projects have been developed by international organizations (such as Food and Agriculture Organization FAO, International Geodetic Association FIG, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe UNECE, World Bank etc.) related to the establishment and use of spatial data for this purpose, which is presented also in this thesis. For the case of Ghana and Burkina Faso, more detailed state is presented, including the land cadastre. For both selected African countries, the procedure of land purchase is presented to illustrate and compare the real property registration systems. Furthermore, for Ghana the summary of interview with the actor of the real property transaction procedure in this country is given aimed to better understand the system of land registration and rights related to the land.
