Sekundarni povzetek: The thesis presents the computer program based on building information model - Allplan and its use in construction industry. The introductory part presents basic information about BIM and the software tool and its modules that enable threedimensional graphic presentation of the building or its separate elements. Special attention is devoted to the modules architecture, steel reinforcement and geodesy. The second part of the thesis is presenting the use and demostration of the software enviroment Allplan for a case study, i.e. residential neighbourhood Mlac near Ozeljan construction project, where the contractor used the above mentioned software for the preparation of the detailed drawings required for the execution stage. Efficiency of the selected 3 D software tool is evaluated on model building and accompanying drawings. A evaluation of the software application is presented in the last part of the thesis.

Povzetek (ePrints): Naloga predstavlja računalniško orodje, ki temelji na informacijskem modelu gradnje (BIM) - Allplan in njegovo uporabo v gradbeništvu. V uvodnem delu predstavljam osnovne pojme o BIM, temeljne informacije o samem programu ter njegovih modulih, ki omogočajo trodimenzionalni izris objekta ali posameznih elementov. Pri tem se posvečam predvsem modulom arhitektura, armatura in geodezija. Drugi del naloge je obarvan nekoliko bolj praktično in v njem predstavljam uporabo računalniškega programa Allplan BIM 2008 na konkretnem primeru iz prakse v fazi priprave na gradnjo. Predstavljam projekt stanovanjskega naselja Mlac v bliţini Ozeljana, kjer je izvajalec dokumentacijo projekta za izvedbo del in ostale potrebne podrobnejše načrte izdelal z omenjenim programom. Učinkovitost uporabe izbranega 3D računalniškega orodja prestavljam na izrisu 3D modela enega objekta. Nalogo zaključuje evalvacija uporabe programa.
