Sekundarni povzetek:	The presented work deals with the course of the regional road R1 – 212 through Sodražica. It researches five new alternatives of the sections 1119 and 1120 Unec-Sodražica or Sodražica- Zamostec in two corridors. The project of all new alternatives is done according the Pravilnik…………….and is completely run by the computer program. Because the road R1–212 causes great problem in urban area, it is necessary to find such an alternative of road replacement, which will completely avoid the urban area and leave enough space for future development of Sodražica and its neighbouring settlements. The current situation, when the regional road runs through the centre, extremely negatively influences on the safety and life of people and hinder (obstruct) some activities (kindergarten, school, health centre, other services) is mostly unacceptable from the traffic safety point of view. The technical problem, which we have to deal with, is, that all alternatives possibly led close by the brook Bistrica and run on hilly terrain. The valley terrain is mostly overbuilt. The comparison of the variants follows the basis of traffic-technical criterion and the on basis of elementary influence on regional development. The results of the study show, that the longest variant is the best at the same time. It avoids not only the course of the line but the settlement Zamostec as well. Therefore, the course of the road largely unburdens the whole valley and offers enough space for future development. The alternative A-1 was found as the worst. It runs through the site Sodražica, what has been preliminary determined to be avoided.
