Sekundarni povzetek: The thesis analyzes the basic and a more detailed purpose land use in the spatial components of long-term plan of the Municipality of Ribnica for the period from 1986 to 2000, medium-term plan of the Municipality of Ribnica for the period from 1986 to 1990, the Ordinance on Changes and Completion of the Spatial Components of Long-term Plan of the Municipality of Ribnica in the period 1986 to 2000, medium-term plan of the Municipality of Ribnica for the period from 1986 to 1990, and basic and detailed purpose land use defined by the proposal of the municipal spatial plan (MSP). On this basis the stock of vacant building land in the municipality of Ribnica has been made. With the help of the analysis of building permits in this area during the period 2000-2009 the assessment of land parcel needs for the next five years has been completed. It was acknowledged that the extent of building land in the proposed municipal plan increases, and this mainly at the expense of reducing the extent of agricultural land. Assuming that demand for vacant land for building construction in the future will not be changed, according to the existing spatial plan estimated stock vacant building sites in this area are sufficient for 53 years or after the proposal of the municipal plan for 73 years.

Povzetek (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi je analizirana osnovna in podrobnejša namenska raba zemljišč v prostorskih sestavinah dolgoročnega plana Občine Ribnica za obdobje od 1986 do 2000, srednjeročnega plana Občine Ribnica za obdobje od 1986 do 1990, Odloka o spremembah in dopolnitvah prostorskih sestavin dolgoročnega plana Občine Ribnica za obdobje od 1986 do 2000, srednjeročnega plana Občine Ribnica za obdobje od 1986 do 1990 ter osnovna in podrobnejša namenska raba zemljišč, ki jo definira predlog občinskega prostorskega načrta (OPN). Na podlagi tega je izdelana ocena zalog nezazidanih stavbnih zemljišč na območju občine Ribnica. S pomočjo analize gradbenih dovoljenj na obravnavanem območju v obdobju 2000-2009 je izdelana ocena potreb po zemljiščih v prihodnjih petih letih. Ugotovljeno je, da se obseg stavbnih zemljišč v predlogu občinskega plana povečuje, in to večinoma na račun zmanjšanja obsega kmetijskih zemljišč. Ob predpostavki, da se potrebe po nezazidanih stavbnih zemljiščih za gradnjo v prihodnosti ne bodo spremenile, bi po obstoječem prostorskem planu ocenjena zaloga nezazidanih stavbnih zemljišč na obravnavanem območju zadoščala za 53 let oziroma po predlogu občinskega plana za 73 let.
