    Povzetek
 
V diplomskem seminarju smo predstavili čustveno inteligenco kot pomemben del človeške »biti«, ki predstavlja posameznikov pogled na svet, okolico in ljudi okrog nas, hkrati pa vpliva tudi na to, kako nas ljudje iz okolice vidijo in doživljajo. Raziskovanje in uporaba čustvene inteligence je relativno nov pojav v družbi, čeprav je čustvena inteligenca prisotna v človeški kulturi že od samega nastanka civiliziranega človeka. V zadnjem času pa se vse več ljudi zaveda pomembnosti čustvene inteligence na poslovnem in zasebnem področju. Tako na primer vse več delodajalcev išče ljudi, ki so dobri ali celo odlični na področju čustvene inteligence, saj takšni zaposleni doprinesejo organizaciji, v kateri delujejo, veliko več, kot tisti manj vešči na tem področju, saj ne čutijo enake povezanosti s podjetjem, nimajo tako razvitega občutka za odgovornost, so manj uspešni pri samomotivaciji in so tudi manj samoiniciativni.
V nadaljevanju diplomskega seminarja smo podrobneje predstavili komponente čustvene inteligence. Pisali smo o tem, kako jih izboljšati, da se posameznik ne znajde v težavah zaradi nepoznavanja in nezavedanja, kako njegovo vedenje vpliva na okolico, hkrati pa je pri čustveni inteligenci potrebno tudi dodati, da ni pomembno samo kako se posameznik v družbi počuti, ampak tudi kako lahko ta posameznik drugim pomaga, da se bodo tudi oni počutili bolje v družbi, v kateri bivajo. Sledi poglavje, v katerem predstavimo področje informatike in njen pomen v organizacijah.
Empirični del pričujočega diplomskega seminarja predstavljata anketi, ki so ju izpolnili zaposleni na delovnem mestu informatike v podjetju X. Odgovore smo analizirali in predstavili v opisni in grafični obliki. Na podlagi te analize smo potrdili vse na začetku postavljene hipoteze. S tem smo ovrgli problem, da so zaposleni na področju informatike manj vešči v poznavanju in uporabi čustvene inteligence.

            | Sekundarni povzetek: | In this undergraduate seminar we presented emotional intelligence as an important part of the human essence. The emotional intelligence represents the individual’s view of the world, surroundings and the people around us, but it also affects how other people from our surroundings see and experience us. Research and use of emotional intelligence is a relatively new phenomenon in society, although the emotional intelligence is present in human culture since the very beginning of civilized man. Recently, more and more people are aware of the importance of emotional intelligence in business and private sector. For example, an increasing number of employers are looking for people who are good or even excellent in the field of emotional intelligence, because those employees can bring much more in an organization in which they operate, than those less skilled in this area, since less skilled in use of emotional intelligence do not feel the same relationship with the company, do not have same sense of responsibility, are less successful at self-motivation and less self-initiative.
In the continuation of graduate seminar we presented in detail the components of emotional intelligence. We wrote how to improve them, so that one does not find himself in trouble because of ignorance and unawareness of how his behaviour affects the environment. However it is not only important how an individual feels in society, but also how an individual can help the others that they would also feel better in a society in which they live. Followed by a chapter in which we present the informatics and its importance in organizations.
The empirical part of this graduate seminar is represented by surveys, which were filled by employees positioned in the department of informatics of organization X. Answers were analyzed and presented in descriptive and graphical form. Based on this analysis, we confirmed all set hypothesis. With these we invalidated the problem, that the people employed in IT, are less skilled in knowledge and use of emotional intelligence. |
