magistrsko delo
Podatke o telesnih značilnostih in gibalnih sposobnostih smo pridobili z izvedbo meritev športnega vzgojnega kartona, ki smo jih izvedli dvakrat. Prvič v mesecu juniju in drugič v mesecu septembru.

Motional activities of children during summer holidays |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The purpose of the research was to find out what impact summer holidays have on motoric abilities of children between 8 and 11 years of age, as well as possible changes in their lifestyle during the summer holidays. 54 children were included in the research; 23 boys and 31 girls. The data (physical characteristics and motoric abilities) was collected by a special battery of tests that has been done twice; for the first time in June and for the second time in September. At the time, pupils have also answered the questionnaire; in June it included questions about the school year while in September they had to answer questions about the summer holidays. In order to find out the differences, t-test has been used. Statistical significance with a risk factor of ▫$P \leq 0,05$▫ has been determined. In order to find out the correlation between school year and summer holidays, ▫$\chi^2$▫-test and Cramer's V have been used. The time of summer holidays resulted in a statistical significant decrease of motoric abilities. The biggest negative impact has been shown at the following tests: forward bend on a bank, range backwards, chin-up on a bar and 600 meters run. In addition, summer holidays have a negative impact on a Body Mass Index, as the number of pupils' BMI has raised during this period of time. However, the lifestyle during the summer holidays is pretty similar to the one during the school year which leads us to a conclusion that physical education and sports activities at school are the ones who make the major difference. |
