In the thesis of the diploma project, different product definitions have been systematically described. Various product levels as well as their character have been defined. Along with it, the life cycle has been added and presented; and it was seriously analysed how the life cycle curves, according to various product segments, differ one from another. The development of a new product has been presented, and its single development phases were profoundly defined.
As a practical sample, the product – called digestorium – of Micro+Polo Company has been chosen. This product inside of witch experiments are performed is a laboratory appliance. It is its basic purpose to absorb all forms of evaporated matter developed during experiments to prevent evaporation in the laboratory, whereas the vapour being removed through the digestorium. In this way, the employees in the laboratories get more conscious concerning their health in their place of work.
In the diploma project, the product has been accurately analysed and its development, along with the single development phases, presented. It is obvious how it is difficult to get to the market in today’s unbeatable concurrence. The costumers are getting permanently more critical, wanting low prices and top product quality. From this point of view, it is important to understand the approach to the potential buyers, and how to sell – along with the product itself – an outstanding story. The company having been chosen is doing it very successfully.
A prosperous company is not just a matter of a right product, but a good atmosphere among the employees, spending on average more than eight hours a day in their place of work, highly matters. The real values of a company are also its employees who, having been educated, qualified, motivated, and spiritually acclimatized, can make a clue contribution to the successfulness of a product and to the repute of the company.digestorium, product, company, life cycle, development. |
