magistrsko delo
V magistrskem delu so predstavljeni njuno sodelovanje, sodelovanje z drugimi pomembnimi pedagogi ter obiski in ekskurzije slovenskih učiteljev v Češkoslovaško republiko in čeških v slovenski prostor.

The master's thesis deals with the cooperation between Slovenes and Czechs in the field of culture and education during the World Wars. A special emphasis is placed on schooling, where the school system of Slovenia is presented after the break-up of the Austro-Hungarian empire, first in the Kingdom of the SHS, later under the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. We present also the Czech school system in the Czechoslovak Republic, which was founded after the break-up of Austro-Hungarian empire. The school reforms are emphasized; the importance of the Slovenian teacher and pedagogue Gustav Šilih for Slovenian education and Czech reform education under the leadership of Czech school reformer Vaclav Přihode. The thesis also presents their cooperation, the cooperation with other important pedagogues, and presents visits and excursions by Slovenian teachers to the Czechoslovak Republic and Czech to the Slovenian territory. The visits also had a special meaning and added value for all pedagogical work of our teachers. We must not forget about many cultural contacts between the Slovenes and the Czechs during world wars. The Czechoslovakians had a community in Ljubljana and a club in Maribor. Students which were included in the Academic society Yugoslavia and the Academic society Slovenia were involved in the efforts to bringing students closer together. During the two wars, leagues played a major role in expanding their cooperation. In Czechoslovakia, the Czechoslovakian-Yugoslav League was founded, and in Slovenia, the Yugoslav-Czechoslovak League, soon afterwards. At the beginning of the master's thesis, the historical backgrounds of both countries are presented. In any case, Yugoslavia and the Czechoslovak Republic joined and cooperated in the past due to the joint and foreign authority, they both once were under. |
