Sekundarni povzetek:	The topic of this Thesis is computer and information science. It defines the use of information and internet sources by computers with the main condition being the IT literacy of a person who is using it. The research of the IT literacy in Posavje region is important because Krško municipality successfully concluded the installation of a wide band optical network (218 km) and wireless internet access in certain parts of the area. The purpose of the project is to cover all areas presently without internet access. At the moment there are about 100 settlements (out of 157) or 3.270 households (of total 9.152). Installation of various communication techniques in the environment does not represent the final achievement since it is also a result of a long term planning and investing in improving the information literacy of individuals and groups, as it is also the conclusion of this Master’s thesis. Information literacy is the highest level of literacy and to a large extent supports social and economical development.
